This project invoves the development of the resort that lies off the coast of the Busaiteen area of Muharraq Island. A tender for dredging and reclamation, set to be worth about $73.7 million is due to be issued in third quarter. The project is a revised version of the Bandar al-Seef Resort scheme, which was to have been developed by the government. A private Saudi company, identified as Asese Technology Resources, will build and operate the complex and lease the land from the client for a period of 50 years. According to initial designs, the resort will include a 50-storey hotel, two 40-storey apartment blocks, 90 villas and chalets, a mall, a theme park and other leisure facilities at an area of 442,000 square metres.

The Meena 7 Towers project is part of the Al Marsa Floating City, which is located off the coast of Muharraq and is part of Amwaj Islands. Meena 7 Towers will comprise seven stunning condominiums spanning an area of 22,722 square metres. The apartments will range from single bedroom to triple bedroom options. Every tower at Meena 7 will be well-equipped and serviced with all the facilities necessary to assure a lifestyle of luxury, comfort and security such as well maintained swimming pool, advanced health club and spa with Jacuzzi, steam and sauna, two elevators per building, reliable building maintenance system, round-the-clock security, and effective garbage and sewerage system. Local Charilaos Apostolides (Chapo) has been awarded the main construction contract to carry out this scheme. Works will commence soon.
